Draw or mark a square with 4-5 meters on each side but add a road as shown in the picture. The road should be about 50 cm broad. Please adjust the width to match the players – the kids are supposed to be able to jump from one tile to the other.

How to play

One kid is selected to be the daemon and the other kids will gather in one tile.
The goal for the players is to jump from one tile of the square to the other without being touched by the daemon. They have to complete a set number of rounds safely finish the game. The daemon needs to catch (touch them when jumping from on tile to the next) all kids.

The starting tile and the moving direction can be freely chosen by the group.

– Allow the players to jump to another tile by leaving the square. A recommendation is 2 allowed steps.
– Add another daemon if it is too hard for the daemon to catch players.
